5 speed ECM in an automatic car?

hey guys!
my ECM fried in my 92 shadow turbo automatic.
we all know how rare that ECM is! :-/
so I found one out of a 5 speed car finally
will it work and if so any major glitches I'll incur?

You might have some idle speed issues, other than that it will work fine.

Also, it's possible to copy the calibration from your old computer to the new one. Potentially. What happened to it that 'fryed' it? What's the P/N for the auto computer?

it overheated in the recent heat wave we had
when I did my fmic setup I forgot that it no longer had airflow going over it. :-/

i don't wanna dump a ton of money into it since I already have more than what I wanted to spend already. lol

when I did my fmic setup I forgot that it no longer had airflow going over it. :-/

As far as I know, nobody does SBECII calibrations. I'm working on them, though.

If the ECM is really NFG, I'd love to have a copy of that cal...

You'd be the first to fry a computer with no airflow. Many, including people in Arizona run no air thru them. Are you sure its the computer?

I run an automatic computer in my 89 turbo mini I converted to 5spd, and people said it may stall at stops. It has never happened, and it runs perfectly.
