Pictures of the car during teardown.

    kick panels are damaged
passenger fender rusted behind the ground effect beyond repair
a pillar trim there and in good shape
passenger tail light has hole damage on one portion of the red reflector, appears to have been there for some time

If you're willing to ship the rear bumper, I would gladly buy it. I really just need the bumper cover, but if it's easier to remove and ship complete with the metal reinforcement and frame horns then I would just buy the whole assembly. If it's rusted, no big deal, I have a good reinforcement here.

I would also like to have the speaker grille/bezel thing on the driver door.

This car looks better than mine did when I started restoring it!

I wish I had money for that wheel. Mine looks like a dog used it as a chew toy.

    Jeremy,

Let me try and get just the bumper cover off tomorrow evening and if it comes of cleanly I will gladly ship it Greyhound.

    Everything still up for grabs

Sounds good! To tell you the truth, I don't even need the Shelby specific rear wrap since mine is still in good shape. But if you would rather sell the rear bumper cover complete with it, just let me and I'll take it either way.

    Jeremy,

Got the rear bumper cover off complete. The center locating tabs for the cover that slide over the bumper are broken. Doubt you are still interest with the damage to the cover. I do not want to separate the csx portion from the stock cover as I do not want to chance any further damage. I'll leave that to end user.

Let me know and I can get pics of the damage for you.

Re: Parting out 1987 Shelby CSX

Hi Jason, thanks for removing it and looking it over. Are all the retaining tabs broken or just a couple? On my CSX's rear bumper cover, ALL of the retaining tabs are broken off, as well as one of the side brackets. Thankfully all the tabs for the Shelby specific wrap survived the 'incident' my bro had when he owned the car.

Would love pics....if just two or three of the tabs are broken, I would likely still be interested. I'm not looking to build a show car; just want the car to look stock and not have a naked bumper reinforcement for once.

I didn't forget about you. Checked the bumper and it appears just the two outer tabs are broken. I took several pictures.

Are the rear seats, rear plastic, and 'A' pillar plastic available?
Additionally, do you have the original front seats regardless of condition?

    Thanks

I am wondering too, I sent a PM offering to pay for the bumper cover but haven't heard a thing. I have a lot of time, so it's not a big deal if I don't get it right away. Just let me know because I'd love to have a rear bumper cover on this car finally.
