Looks like the car has the roadster hoop on it instead of the targa top doesn't it? maybe that's where the one I got came from.

I did not notice that. You are right, mine now has a different hoop than the one in the old photo. Wow.

What is the advantage of the billet TB when regular TB's are readily available? Bling?

    Re: 1990 Consulier GTP Targa

The larger stock one, on my Consulier...the two vacuum ports won't fit under my engine cover.
This one has one port (I only need one) and it fits under the engine cover....and it looks good. (yes, bling)
I did need to adapt a couple things to make it work..its coming together.

Oh, so my stock style 58mm one will be for sale soon if anyone wants one.

Ends up instead of the top of the throttle body hitting the engine cover, there is about an inch clearance. Much better.

    Re: 1990 Consulier GTP Targa

Did a test run this evening to see if the trans leak is fixed. Looks MUCH better.
On the test drive I stopped at the parts store to pick up a couple brake hoses for my 93 van.
Here is what I found to park next to.

    Re: 1990 Consulier GTP Targa

On the way to the dentist appointment yesterday.... I was in the Consulier and pulled up behind a newer Corvette. He kept looking at me out his side mirror. So when he takes off he hauls a--. I try to keep up and to my surprise I did. Wonder what he thought.
