    Re: 1990 Consulier GTP Targa

Johnny, what is behind the bulkhead next to the turbo? I'm thinking maybe the air filter can be behind the engine in the back of the car. Of course I've never seen one in person, so I might just be shooting blanks here.

Another option could be a doughnut adapter. You've probably seen this type of thing, but I'm describing it all weird. It lets you be able to make a 90* turn without having to worry about a tight radius hose. The losses are minimal (although it looks like it would be a giant bottleneck) and it looks like it might solve your issue.

Something like these, but on the turbo, not the intake.

Got caught up with work today.
No work on the car today.
Should have time to work on the GTP tomorrow and look at some ideas you have given me.
My fuel rail fittings are here now, so for sure I can plumb that in. Also might get the special
aluminum cover tomorrow and can install the other valve cover.

    Re: 1990 Consulier GTP Targa

Worked on the valve cover idea. It took a lot of fab work to make it right.
Using a square top FI cast aluminum valve cover. And you can see the inside baffle
mods I needed to do to make it fit with this valve cover.
Also the fancy cover bolts hit the cam bolts on the inside so ended up having to
counter sink the nuts on the inside, which took some grinding.
Photo is test fit and it works. Now will clean up the baffle better and install it.

I took the center console out so I could get to the throttle cable.
Got it out, it is 100 inches long or 107 inches if you count the whole length...

    Re: 1990 Consulier GTP Targa

Had throttle cable issues, it would stick at full throttle, a little scary. I did solve this and works well now.
Even have the cruz working. And the speedometer.

But not solved the boost issue yet. Will hook up the sideband air/fuel monitor today.
