    Me too.
I didn't put the throttle body on today, didn't have a gasket. I'll have one tomorrow.
Also some AN fittings for the fuel lines.

I think I see a piece of aluminum shaving on that one bung right by the throttle body.

hehe yeah looking again it seems to be that. Sorry, just thought about a piece of metal breaking free and enjoying the ride for a split second before causing some harm to a cylinder.

    Re: 1990 Consulier GTP Targa

Got the throttle body gasket today so installed it.
The throttle cable bracket is for an auto, and do not need that part so
cut off the too long part so it would fit with my 90 degree silicone elbow.
See photo F for bracket too long....photo C for the photo with the bracket cut to fit.

But as you can see, now the air box is in the way. (photo D)

Also an issue on my car ....(photo E) this set up makes the need to extend the throttle body plugs.

Only thing I am not sure of is how to deal with the air filter.

Also if you compare A and B you can see where I need to add a hose (stock one will now not fit)
to go to an air filter....HELP...have any ideas here?
    Stock location won't fit.
No room to just stick a cone style filter directly to the turbo.

Also...if I find a way to just add a cone filter some where, does the small hose that normally
goes to the bottom of the air box to the PVC system really need to be hooked up. Or if not will it cause issues.

    Re: 1990 Consulier GTP Targa

The valley between the intake and valve cover....full of injectors, hoses, etc...always (on my cars) looks messy.
I decided to "try" something. This is a design I did and having laser cut out of polished aluminum.
Will bolt on to a early 90's FI style valve cover and cover over to within a 1/4 inch of the intake.

    Hope to install this weekend.

    Re: 1990 Consulier GTP Targa

It bolts on with 4 bolts. And goes where I marked it with red. Word CONSULIER will cover the valley area.
Need to still drill the 4 bolt holes and the oil fill area.

    Re: 1990 Consulier GTP Targa

Johnny, what is behind the bulkhead next to the turbo? I'm thinking maybe the air filter can be behind the engine in the back of the car. Of course I've never seen one in person, so I might just be shooting blanks here.

Another option could be a doughnut adapter. You've probably seen this type of thing, but I'm describing it all weird. It lets you be able to make a 90* turn without having to worry about a tight radius hose. The losses are minimal (although it looks like it would be a giant bottleneck) and it looks like it might solve your issue.
