The radiator is:
58-1/8" long
8" tall, plus the side caps are making the ends about 8-1/4 tall.
2-1/8 " thick...but thats counting the metal caps, bottom and top. I think the core is about 2" thick, maybe slightly less.
The end caps on the left and right are 2 inches wide (left to right).

You can see the two inlet and outlet's on the end caps. There is also a fitting that connects a hose to the fill tank.

It might have been answered, but I didn't see it when I looked: who owns the other Consulier that is in those pictures?

Johnny let us know how those front shocks perform! I may order a set.
Changed the left front shock today.
As you can see in photo 1, the blue arrow points to the bolt that needs to come out.
But there is a body panel there so to get it out, the control arm needs to be removed first.
Red arrow shows that bolt. Once the upper control arm is loose, you can get to the shock bolt.
Once that is removed (and the lower shock bolt) the coil-over shock pulls out the top.
Both the new and old shock together...fully extended in one shot and compressed in the other.
They are really close. Now the threaded portion gets tapped away from the end.
There is a round c-clip that needs removed, then the threaded part slides off the end.
Installed these to the new shock, then re-installed the spring and top hat.
It went back together okay. I did anti-seize the control arm bolt shaft so next time it will
come apart easier that it did this time.
Step-by-step.....

Installed the other front coil-over shock today.
Interesting, the QA1 shock still has Carrerra embossed in the shock housing on the new shocks.
Old Carrerra shocks say Made in USA. The new ones say made in Mexico.

Also checked out on why my speedo is not working. Changed the
piece that goes into the trans. Also noticed the cable news fixed.
I will see if I can do it tomorrow, if not I'll need to take the cable/housing
to a speedo shop to have them fix it.
Also changed both fuel filters.
Installed a poly front engine mount (finally)
Took out the passenger side seat. Will take the cover off
to get started on reupholstery. Changing them to black with
charcoal centers.

Hopefully in the next couple days it will stop raining long enough to dry out so I can take it for a test drive.

Got to do the test drive today. Front end feels SO much better. Now will pull the rear shocks off again on Thursday and send them in to get re-valved.Did get a pin hole leak in the aluminum water fill reservoir today. Need to take it off and see if it is fixable. I am sure this happened from sitting for 18 years with crappy anti-freeze in it.

Took my fill tank out today, it has pin hole leaks in it.
Need to make a new one.
Also took off my rear shocks again, sending them back to Bilstein to get re-valved.
It will take a couple weeks to get them back.
While they are gone I am going to do some changes!!!

Looked it all over and decided to change directions on the shocks and ordered shorter ones. Also took off my rear shocks again, sending them back to Bilstein to get re-valved.

Dropped the water tank off at "John's Custom Fab" to have a new aluminum one made.
This is a guy that does great work at a fair price. They work on hot rods, build them and
also make Cobra Kit cars out of their own molds and frame.
