Put a new fan relay in...didn't help. Guess I should check the fuse.
Installed all 4 new headlights. Tape being on them for 18 years would not come off.

Also remember body lean changes things, there really is no body lean in this car.

Very true.
it's too far unbalanced for my specs, but like reaper said you can probably drive down the road without wearing out tires.
Played a little yesterday. It sticks in the corners. Like driving a fat tired gokart. Has felt stable never pushed or felt like the back was going to come out. So far I only slow down for a corner because "I" dont think I can, but so far the car has shown me it can do all I ask. Autocross will tell me much more. I'd like to find a empty lot and play a little.
I do think the 6-1/2" wheels on the front with the 205x50x15 tires is as big as I can go on the front. The 8" wheels I have will be too wide. The tires hit just a touch now in some extreme conditions.

Oh, I got a 21 day trip permit at the DMV yesterday, and then I used it in a few errands. Saw two ladies and 3 guys taking photos of the car.
Its not the easiest car to climb out of.

Mebbe shave 2 or 3mm off the backs of the wheels? I guess that wouldn't work if there is no inside clearance tho. Man you are sure gettin it done on the car!

Or add a couple degrees of camber up front? If its that close. Don't know whats ideal in a car with odd weight/roll characteristics like this has.

Not the back side, its the outside of the fronts. When you turn.

I'll slow down a little now. I just HAD to have it drivable. And the rest (hood and paint) is much more money. Need to save.

I mean machine the wheel to increase the offset amount. I'm not sure how much it would weaken the wheel structure but I think a few millimeters would be fine. From what you say sounds like they are reaaaal close to working.Probably will have to pay for a dismount remount rebalance to get the wheels on a lathe.

The engine cover will be white like the car and built something like the other targa ones. Except in place of lovers I want a scoop like the series two hard topped cars. By the way, I have never seen a series two targa. Then the scoop (facing rearward) will be painted teal like the wheels and targa bar.

Just out for a drive, I stop by the river to take a photo of the car. Then a guy stops and takes my photo, gives me a copy.

Looks better without the goofy headlight surrounds. Gives it a nice black outline of the headlights. Did you polish out the body?

Not yet..just washed it.

Cleaned the body up pretty good today to get it ready for the car show.
Installed the wheel caps
New spark plug wires
drained the water and added anti-freeze/coolant
installed the side marker lights
installed the two rear view mirrors

You should swap that ignition coil around to point the other way, so you can shorten that coil wire by at least half or more. You'd cut that resistance to less than half of what it is currently.
