Alright, I just started swapping over my valvetrain from my swirl head to my ported G head, and of course I just realized that the valve keepers for the swirl head aren't the same as the ones I need for the G head valves. I can't find anywhere which keepers to use. Any help?? Thanks!
What is different? They should be the same. Do you have replacement valves in G-head? Perhaps MP +1mm valves? Some MP exhaust valves used the single groove keeper instead of multi-groove. Be aware valve length is shorter for the g-head by about .080.

yep, I've got the MP +1mm valves going in. They all appear to take the single groove keeper. Of course going through all my random junk parts boxes I can only muster up 7 keepers. Looks like I'll just grab one from Auto Zone. Thanks!
