    Wink Blown Challenger

Some of you know about this project (actually my obsession!) on this car. Spent the last two years doing a full chrome moly re-chassis and we're just now getting it sorted out. There's a lot more left in it as the tune is fat and soft and we're not even touching the blower potential yet!

Made some passes out at Great Bend KS a few weeks ago. We had a major thrash session the 2 weeks leading up to it, we were still putting the car back together at the track when we got there.

Still sorting out the chassis as you'll see but we're close.

Ran 7.3's but mph was way off (purposely )

Everywhere but straight and a great job driving. The crew doing push ups after the run was comical. Keep up the good work!

Push ups (1 per each second) for every new "Best" we do. They're hoping I hit 6's soon.

    New Personal Bests!

Thought I'd add to this thread instead of making a new one...

Went to Great Bend KS for the Rocky Mtn Supercharger group. Had some issues (I pray for one day to be able race and not have a problem leading up to the track) with intake valve leaking (100/40psi not good) finally got it to seal up Wednesday night and loaded up Thursday. Finished assembling the engine at the track on Sat (100 deg!).

Ah, well with low budgets I have to take what I can get (no spares, everything worn out, etc...)

7.16@192mph (Gotta be a record of some sort for a steel doorslammer with a Torqueflite!)

Vids to come. Would have been in the 6's but the driver (me) screwed up (I'm not sayin'!).

Going back in Oct as we have some "Unfinished Business" to take care of.

Been awhile since I've been on here so here's an update on the Challenger. Car is running 7.1's now (7.0's and even 6's are in the mix now). at 192mph. Still using the 727 in this steel body beast. Website crashed and just is basic now until I can get all of my vids up again.
