That things like a supermodel who won't give you the time of day. What you want is fast homely cheap no BS delivering the goods. In a car I mean. I think.

The Photon MT9000 was a concept car design that Molser was asked to make a reality. He didn't design the body tyling at all.

Car and Driver article on the Consulier from October 1991.

This "Sport" one did not have the electric windows like the others we have seen.

Look how nice that engine bay looks.

Exhaust...saw this (photo from internet) car with the super trap changed out.

Was looking at this photo, looks like someone could remove the cat and add a muffler like this one and use dual exhaust.

When someone figures out how to install a large intercooler in these cars can you let me know?

The rear diffuser is shaped for a single outlet. I think if you want it quieter then your best option would be something in place of the cat and the cutting the ext pipe back till it's just flush with the rear diffuser helping to blow the diffuser as much as possible for downforce.

Mike, take out the stock i/c, replace with radiator and run one of these in the engine bay where the airbox sits.

It looks like a 4" pipe will be easy to get out the back side of the car. I'm not sure a muffler is needed...

4' of 4" pipe would be pretty loud outside the car for sure. If you don't want to draw so much attention a magnaflow type muffler is nice to have.

I wonder how well an ATP swingvalve would work on these cars?

That is hilarious! Not making trying to p*ss you off, Jay, but these cars draw attention standing still...so a little noise from the exhaust isn't going to really make it worse.

Now, driver fatigue...THAT would be brutal! Depending on how badly this car takes to resonance, the 4" might actually be quieter. Only one way to find out...somebody give me a good example of one and I'll test it out for ya!

To quiet it down is going to be difficult because of the very short exhaust run. Something like a Magnaflow or Borla would be the way to go. Flush mounting the exhaust to the diffuser *might* help (as you've said), but there's no way to know without testing.

Mine has a pretty quite exhaust, but I've got dual tips. Looks to be running a camaro/firebird muffler single in/ two out.

ya, kind of. This is closer though, with inlet/outlet on one side and the other outlet on the other side.

Re: Consulier GTPs up for grabs...

The one I posted might fit better "IF" it is not too big. The exhaust inlet in the middle looks like it would fit the car better, then out lets on both ends to make dual exhaust. I used one on my R/T and it sounds good too.
    Magnaflow's usually sound real good!

Re: Consulier GTPs up for grabs...

Slowe Speed will be making a stainless steel exhaust system for mine. If you are interested and have the time to wait, we could have him make some for you as well.

We are months away from that stage thou and I would have no idea on pricing. The only thing I can tell you is it will be reasonable for a custom stainless exhaust system.
