Consulier GTPs up for grabs...
A guy from TD just recently purchased two Consulier GTPs. They are all stored in a large warehouse at Mosler Automotive with prices ranging from $5k-$12k. Just thought I would post this up here incase anyone is interested. If I had $5k right now I would make the trip to Florida and scoop me one up. Donations?

Ive seen the ad for them for a while in GRM, thought it was cool they were TII. I could only imagine one with a crazy built TIII or Masi, would bring it back to supercar status.

Owner was there but never called me back. Must not want to sell them that bad. I will call again tomorrow.
Not going to have M3 and this car and probably won't sell the m3 but who knows where the conversation will take me.
The fact that it can be a street car is just insane. Not sure I can handle all the attention the car would get.
For a awesome car im thinking $10k for car and then $15 - $20k in mods. Then when it's all said and done i would have have another car that's impossible to sell. Not sounding very reasonable right now.
With what I've read about the GTP's on track performance I'm not sure that you would want to sell it? Can you imagine a car weighing hundreds of lbs. less than your S with the aerodynamics and lower CG to go with it? That would be unreal.
Big dark sunglasses and a low cap every where you drive. And ignore all the looks. It will be worth it! Man I wish I wasn't broke.. $10k for the car and $5k after should do it.

Apparently a few of those cars made it out of the shop with TIIIs dropped into them. According to Wiki there were also some modded for V8s. They are downright nasty with a mid mounted 2.2 TII, imagine what it would do with an LS4 stuffed mid-ship. Even a Caddy Northstar. But the flat out ultimate option would be the H1V8. Its essentially a pair of Busa motors chopped up and mounted to a custom built block(built to handle heavier than bike duties). Naturally aspirated it only makes about 500hp but with turbos they claim 800hp is possible. And it weighs less than 200 pounds loaded. The coolest part about it is the sound. Listening to it sing at WOT with your eyes closed makes you think you're at an F1 event. A 15k+ rpm 2.6 liter V8 makes one of the sweetest noises you can hear.
I would rather have a turbo 4 than a big heavy v8 in a car like the gtp.
They put an LT1 and LS1 in the later Intuder and Raptor. I agree, I'd rather have a 4 than a 8 in that car.
