the one gripe I have about my interior is the huge awkward shifter in my z. id love to make a pistol grip style work but im not sure how I would with the reverse lock out. I want to replace the whole shifter assembly adding just a handle would add to the height and goofiness lol any help or advice is appreciated
Talk to Maddog about the shifter, he builds sick shifters and can modify it to work with an E-body pistol grip. Don't worry about the long throw, his shifters are so short that with the long arm it works out great.

an 89 shifter bolts up but is 1" or so shorter. Netted me a .1+ second gain in the 1/4 over my 87-88 row boat shifter. Got me into the 13's
