    Grainger valve vent hole size.

    Quoted from the Gus's sight

Please note that the unused vacuum barb on the solenoid valve is blocked off! I represented the block with a black rectangle. You must cap off this nipple. Again, there is a small (about .020") vent hole drilled into the output barb of the Grainger valve to act as a vent.

Its says about .020 inch hole

1/64 is .015 and 1/32 is .031 will the 1/64th bit work if I egg it out a little bit? Or is my math not correct at converting today. Thanks guys

Went to Horrible freight and found a mini drill set. The smallest of the bits is .020 so I lucked out.

Be very careful with those mini bits. They break easy.

Indeed they do. So small that they don't even fit in the chuck of the drill. Ended up putting the fitting in the drill and holding the drill bit with vise grips to drill the hole.

Bits that small are made to be held in a pin vise and drilled with your fingers. Hobby store should have the right tool if your interested in the right tool for the job.

What I've done in the past is cut a short piece off a brake cleaner straw to help hold the drill bit in the chuck of my drill press.

I'll also just barely start the hole with a 1/8" bit, and finish with the 0.020". The bigger bit creates a nice little dish that keeps the tiny one from walking and therefore breaking. And be patient, don't put much pressure on that bit, or you'll grind it to dust.

Ill have to look into this. Holding the fitting in the drill and holding the bit by hand worked pretty well tho.

I had one bit catch right as it broke thru the whole way and snap off other than having to get the bit out afterward it went pretty well can't wait to crank the boost up.

I bought a mini drill set off Amazon and it came with a hand drill. Like a big pencil with a chuck. You just spin with your fingers. I did still manage to break one bit I think even being carefull.
That pilot dimple is a good idea

I used a spare motorcycle pilot jet off of a tee. As a bonus it has multiple outlet holes coming off of the single metering hole so maybe less likely to clog. If you don't already have some laying in your tool box they are only a few bucks.

Drilled mine at .040" because that was the smallest drill I had. Works great even at low boost settings. I've had it set to 4psi and never had a problem.
