    Re: 93 Voyager 5-speed TBI

Guy picked the motor up tonight, and left behind the motor.

Apparently it's an older block than I had thought, I think he said it was an 85 block but all rebuilt, he included ARP rod bolts with it that he didn't put in when he rebuilt it, 782 head, TBI roller cam, 52MM TB. I have to get the turbo stuff and all the fittings, shouldn't be too difficult.

Give me a list of what you need. PM is fine if you want.

Does it have a 6-bolt crank, though?

Yes it does have the 6-bolt crank, I'll put together a list ASAP.

Well, I still haven't put the 6 bolt block to use. I'm going to swap the known good 782 head onto the minivan in the next few days or so, along with finally putting on the 11" brakes I got a while back. 2 of the soft lines went at the same time, moving the upgrade up. Just need to find caliper brackets.

I've also deided I really want a 1st gen C/V front end on the van, just have to find one.

    And a picture, because neon.

Those neon wheels fit the van well.

You may or may not be able to bolt a 1g front end directly on. Check at the junkyard before spending any money!

Also still need a list of what you want. I may be buying a better turbo van in the near future which means my 90 SBEC turbo harness/ecu may be up for grabs in a few months.

Sent you a message on facebook!

I painted the new calipers purple today (this van really is my wife's van), hope to get to it some tomorrow but no garuntees with the family and all. I'd have it done, but they changed my work schedule from tuesday to friday to monday to thursday this week, so I'll probably get to it next weekend. Also, she wants to hang the new door I bought last year for it since the one door still has the deer damage on it.

Front came apart and went together great! Rear lines, well they're rusted pretty bad, and the one line I tried to disconnect? The hard line ended up twisting on me.

Looks like I'll have to do a full rear line replacement. Not happy about that.

But the front brakes look great!

    11" vs 10" brakes.

Sweet. I put the 11" fronts on my van too. With the giant drums from the AWD rear axle it feels great under braking.

I had to replace hard lines in my wisconsinite van. It sucks but you do it once and then forget about it.

Well, I got everything wrapped up and it was still acting funny when I'd smash the brakes a few times, so I figued it was the wheel cylinders. Was going to try to squeek by with just wheel cylinders, took the drum off and found this.

Bought new shoes and all the hardware, then the old cable guides were too rusted to fit into the new shoes and hold. Got those today, but no time to do them.

Someday I'll get this done, along with the headgasket.
