2.5 turbo swapped in a Spirit RT, what to do for engine management?

Ok, so a long time friend swapped a built 2.5 into his Spirit RT years back. We installed an SDS system, which, then, was impressive and worked well enough to get it through emissions testing! Now he is considering putting it back on the road and since we never did a great tune, hes open to a newer more advanced system that the old SDS system. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
