`The Volvo head is way longer than a chrylser head.

One really good advantage of the multi-piece design is the fact that the head bolts are very short.

Intake ports shoot straight into valves with almost no bends

Interesting that they are longer than the Chrysler. I wonder what the difference is between the Cosworth Ford and the 2.3 Ford is then? The purpose behind that question is that the M4S (Wraith) DOHC head is a modified Cosworth head that was originally designed for a Ford. I don't know what the modifications that were made, however.

I think I know what your getting at.

The Volvo head has absolutely nothing to do with Cosworth or Ford. The head just happens to bolt on to a standard 2.3 Ford with a some modifications.

That being said the difference between the cosworth Ford a 2.3 Ford would be huge, since the 2.3 Ford is also long like the Volvo.

The Volvo 16 Valve head was actually Designed by Porsche.

Interesting about the head being designed by Porsche. I learned something new!

I was trying to see if there was anything that could be used from that head. All this pretty much confirms....no! LOL

Squarish cars dropped on big wheels looks good for some reason. Real good. Goodness increases at the square of squareness.

You should buy me perfectly running 96 BMW M3 that has 8.5 inch rims on the back...I thought of rolling the real fender openings and sticking on some 275s in place of the 245s. Only $9000 for you...roll bar already installed and it corners like its on rails!Click image for larger version.
