the 1989 one was pulled a few years ago and seems to also be all intact

A 90 van harness is only plug and play with a 90 omni/ horizon. 89 van harness are plug and play for glht and fuel injected models.

Everything pre 1988 was a different bulkhead connector and lm instead of smec if I'm thinking correctly.
I mean 89 vs 90 van harness.
The 89 is a SMEC the 90 is a SBEC
That shows how much I know about the different PCM and wire harness setups.
Same. IIRC, a few added wires but nothing major.

how much modification to the harness and bulkhead connectors would I need to do to make this fit in my T2 shadow with a 2.5 manual transmission?
A lot, totally different harness's.
I have a harness out of an 89 TII Daytona, post up and see if that will work.
