I think the KYB Gas-a-justs are better. Do they even make te GR2 for the rear?

KYB gas-a-justs are a much better shock than GR2's. Mono tube vs. twin tube. Available on-line for $35 each shipped! Just a tad cheaper than Koni's (lol). Just not adjustable. Steve Thorton (shelbymotorsports) may still have some NOS Monroe Formula GP's. Stock shock on the Shelby Lancer and others.

Hi folks, it had KYB gas shocks in it, one was broken (I think). Was rattling like grandmas last breath. The wife went down to NAPA and got me the NAPA Response gas charged shocks with 10 stage valving for $25 bones apiece. I put em on. AWESOME. Thanks for your input. The car is now my daily driver and it is getting closer to perfect by the day. Was OOC for about a year with a bunch of things that needed fixing; one axle, rear brakes, power steering pump, water pump and housing, heater valve, fuel hoses, yada yada but NOW, is a rocking machine. Thanks to all of you for you help over the last six months as I put this brick together.

I'm glad to hear that you have the car running well. That's pretty exciting.
