    Rear disk conversion options ?????

    I have an 88csxt that needs new rear calipers, rotors, pads, E-brake shoes

    can I just grab all these things from a neon? (backing plate, wheel hub)
    are the backing plate holes the same pattern? (will it bolt up to a P-body rear axle?)

    I guess what i'm trying to say is, can i use the neon spindle with neon everything else on the p-body axle?

    yeah I read that but I saw alot of other info that clouded the straight answer.

    I think he used the shadow spindle and wheel flange with the neon backing plate and rotor.


    If you were closer I'd give you the rear disc's off my shadow if you helped me install the R/T axle I have sitting here.

    I actually just spent my afternoon looking over the car again. Looks like I will be ok, I just ordered SRT4 rear calipers and pads along with 94 shadow rotors. Strange thing is Rockauto didnt show any rear rotors for my 88 csxt but they showed rotors for a 94 shadow. Is there a difference between the two?

    I don't believe so.
