"I need two, two of the big ones!!"
LMAO! Yeah...I knew eventually somebody would do it! I do have to admit that two blue bottles under that hatch do look a bit intimidating!
I just noticed that I kinda like the "patina" of the roll bar! It makes the car look even more legit!
Figured out the in-tank pump issue, harness plug connection is a bit sketchy. Need another AN adapter and some efi hose and a filter and I should be able to fire it up.
Is it the plug itself or the connector that is made into the pump housing cap?
Ive had to tighten the terminals on that funny triangle-shaped plug for stock fuel pumps before.

Sweet Ride! Hey did you get the doors open on that trailer? I'm gonna be doing fender surgery on my trailer soon!

I think tomorrow will be picture day, if it isn't raining. I got fuel hoses hooked up tonight, but have no spark. Gonna check the distributor pickup tomorrow.
The issue that I always find is even though the fender might be out of the way, now the tire/s are in the way because they usually don't sit too far under the fender.
Messed with it this morning, thinking it may be a fuel issue, not spark. Too wore out from yard work and washing cars to fool with it anymore at the moment. Took a bunch of pics, uploading to photobucket now, will post in a bit.
Interesting. Im curious what that header setup looks like. Kinda hard to tell whats going on.. looks like both headers might go under the engine and meet like a mitsu-style y-pipe and then it goes back up and over the k-frame?

hmmmmm i wonder if you can pull the cal from tcm and send it to rob for inspection.
Wow thanks for the pics. I've never actually seen the underhood of this beast. I joined the 3.0 forums after the car was decommissioned... very very cool too see it coming back to life.
Interested in the headers, I don't recall seeing a setup like that before. Also curious about the nitrous setup, I was told that car used a direct port system but does it only have the one shark nozzle shown in the pics?
Well that nozzle is only going into 1 port so id say that pretty much proves its direct port unless you want to run a 200 shot only on that one cylinder, haha.

When I get it running, I'll put it up on a lift and get some more pics of the headers. They are for a Mitsu car, probably a Diamante or Sigma, which is why the rear goes forward under the oil pan. On a Mitsu it would actually be the front header. BTW the car has a Mitsu 3.0 engine, again probably Diamante in origin. Oil stick is at the rear, distributor is different, about everything else is the same.
And yeah, there is a nozzle in each port lol.
Definitely a distributor issue. It'll zap sometimes when you switch the key on, but not while spinning.
