disc vs drum brake distribution blocks

I am in the process of switching my '87 Shadow from rear drum brakes to disc brakes. One of the parts that came off the donor car was the distribution block. I was about to change it when I realized it is the same color (yellow/brass) as the one that is on the car.

So are they the same since they are the same color, or are they different?

    Thanks
    Ed

They reused some of the colors IIRC.

There was a whole thread with graphs and other exciting info on the subject provided by Rich Bryant.

Yup, I think it's in the KC. You will want to find out what year the donor car was to make sure you are getting the right info. I will say I've had the best luck with the yellow tagged proportion valve with the 11" set-up.
