    shift knob emblem

what kind of shift knob emblem was used on the 89 daytona shelby? the knob was missing when i bought the car and i order one from the dealer but came without the center emblem. where can i get one thats not at the dealer? i hate dealing with these ppl about this kind of stuff. (can't ever get anything right). is there one available with the "cs" logo?

    thanks

It simply has the shift pattern.. Very handy for the tire guys when they get in your car and can't find the screwball location VW put reverse.. err, Chrysler, when they copied the VW setup.. heh..
I just picked up one from my dealer earlier this year.. I initially had trouble with my parts department at my dealership. I eventually switched dealerships and found a great guy at the new one. Very pleasant to work with. So maybe you can try a different dealer (seems every town has a Chrysler AND a Dodge dealer.. Try the other one..

That's good to know. The one in the Sundance has the markings worn off and looks like @ss. How much does the stealership want for one?

I thought the knobs were NS1? Good to know they are still available.

Yeah, I just bought the whole knob assembly recently.. I think maybe 9 months ago or so.. I spent about $50 for the whole deal..

Gosh $50 is a steal! I got lucky a few years back. I saw a shift knob in an 87 shelby Z that appeared BRAND NEW! I pulled it and the guy just told me to "get out of here with that"...so yeah it was a good price
