I just renewed my web site. Originally bought in May of 2003.
So about this time 10 years ago I started PolyBushings after leaving Quickor Suspension.
Then bought the web site in May. So many changes since that first year.
The first couple years I worked at Aldridge Motorsports 10am to 5 pm and worked
PolyBushings in the mornings and after 6pm...usually til 10 or 11 pm. Got so busy
after while I had to quit the day job (it was a fun job, I worked on many cool cars
and worked the counter too. It was a hot rod shop). I stayed at Aldridge for Friday's
only, they said they really needed me at least one day.
After while we decided to expand and needed some place besides just a two car garage.
All the land near Portland was too spendy. When we found this place we just fell in love
with it. Little did we know how much work it was going to be to not only keep a business
going from a rented storage unit, but while building a place to live.
It has all worked out though and would not go back for anything.
At one time I was offered a job that would have paid very well, but I could not think
of myself working for someone else now. Or for giving up this, besides how would
every turbo Dodge owner get parts?
Now we make parts for Ford's, Buick's, Chevy's and Pontiac's.
But my love is still for Dodge cars, especially turbo Dodge cars.
I want to thank ALL of you for your support through the years to make this all possible!!!!
Johnny
