Topless was a red Shadow. The lady was the daughter (I think) of the guy that owned Forward Motion after Sebring sold the company. I saw the car at Carlisle around 2001 IIRC.

Rob, you were definitely one of the first to really raise the bar for turbo Mopars to be both fast and good looking.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
growing up in the 60's & 70's it was all about the V8s with headers and a holley carb. when I went to a fwd 4 cylinder platform all my old buddys laught at me and made fun of me. not any more. now they don't want to race me. some times it's fun to be a weirdo and a outcast.

    Re: ohiorob's project log

time for an update. well about three years ago I put the radiator in the back behind the rear axle. it lays flat close to the floor with 1" id tubing going to the engine with a stock srt water pump. I hated that all the heat the engine was making was blowing on the intake plus if I make back to back runs everything in the engine compartment was heat soaked. works awesome. drawbacks once up to temp the fan stays on. I can live with that. don't know how it will do on a long trip still experimenting. last winter went Mega Squirt 3x. spent last summer getting it sorted out if only I knew what I was doing I would of ordered it with what I needed instead of modifying it to fit my needs. this past winter I installed BC stag 4 cams and a 15 gallon fuel cell with a walbro 450 fuel pump. I should have it up and running in a few weeks. I'll post pics later if I can figure out how to do it.

Wow, I didn't know you did that, but have thought about that too.
Do you have any ducting or scoupe under to direct some airflow?

    Re: ohiorob's project log

tried some ducting, but nothing good yet. when I first did this for the hell of it I cut a hole in the floor almost the size of the radiator put the radiator up against the floor. with the windows down, fans off, at high speed the air from in side was fighting the air under the car so then the temp. would go up slowly but when I slow down the heat would rush in side. It was fine when I was just racing on a cold night at the track I can heat the cabin and on a hot day sitting in line I would turn the fans on and a rush of air would be coming through the window, awesome.
