Yes, you can play with the cals in MP Tune. The files are posted on my google site (calsbyshelgame, just search google for it).

I was going to make cables, but honestly, the response to me being able to make cals has been so lukewarm I'm not sure I'm going to bother. It's a big investment to buy all the parts to build the cables and I'm not sure if they would sell. I bought a bunch of cores thinking I would be able to make cals and sell them, but I've only sold 2 since Feb. Everyone has told me that my cloned MP computer is cheaper than what you can buy a used MP for; and then everyone asks for dyno 'proof'. Like I'm going to go to a dyno to show that I was able to clone an MP computer and raise the rev limiter...

I think my time is better spent making stuff for the older turbo cars (like the SuperLM). Dealing with the general Neon population has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Thats really too bad. I think if you move forward with it the people will come. Its a HUGE market, Kevin is getting $300 a ecu. He does have a dyno sheet, that shows he made a extra 5hp. You come out with a turbo ECU and the masses will follow. Look at all the people that fought calibrations for the 8V stuff, why bother when a $5 extra injector does the same thing right? But times changed and now a new cal is the first thing on everyone's list. Heck I use to be one of those guys using homemade RRRs saying cal's weren't needed and I have been sold on them. I think it might take a little while to get used to people use to the idea of self tuning, but once it does take off I really believe you will do just as much business with the neon guys as the 8V guys. There is no middle ground in the neon community between a MP ECU and megasquirt. This fills that void and at the same time makes both of them obsolete. I really hope you keep plugging away at it and come out with the cable and a base turbo cal. I will be one of the first in line

I doubt I'll give up on it. It's just not my style. But, I honestly think there's more interest in my SuperLM idea. So, I think I'll invest my cash in those first.

I don't think a turbo FCC cal would be too tough, either. But, its not a high priority right now.

Is there an inherent advantage in the FCC? Does/can it run more sophisticated code? Would we be able to run a SRT4 cal?

Realistically, the Super LM will be more popular here, but the Neon market is undeniably bigger..

None at all. Not really (the code is basically the same as the '92 turbo, but set for a 1-bar). Definitely not.
