    Re: Colorado roll racing

Well most people have no way to find the difference between locked and unlocked at WOT/full boost because the computer wont let you do WOT in lockup. You have to be running a switch to find that number.

I dont see any issue with the gearing thing.. If you dont want to go past 5500rpm on 225/50/15 on 3.02fd trans that all adds up to me.. youd want to get out of it somewhere around 120. Doesnt mean you HAVE to but nobody likes to run a motor out of its comfort zone for long periods. When im going 100+ in my DD neon i shift 'early' into 5th just because i dont like hanging out at 6k+ so long to actually 'gear out' in 4th. It's just unnerving and pointless.

    26 psi on E85 and a 330cc meth kit

Exactly, it will live for a long time not reving it too high

Before you hit stall, it slips quite a bit, its actually surprising how much, but again, that all depends on what converter you have.

Though also I think you're really running into a wall of air with a P-body, the aero sucks muchly, the cD is something like .47 (IIRC) so in cD*A terms you might have the same total resistance as a minivan (cD= .42) CS/DC body kits might have improved things a tad.
The stock '87 CSX was supposed to top out at 137mph IIRC.

    Re: Colorado roll racing

Yeah, i figure the top speed on most turbo dodges is kinda scary if you consider a CSX did 137 with 170hp and a spirit r/t did 145 ish with 220hp and srt-4 neons go 155 with only a little more than that.. By that logic any decently modded up turbo dodge has enough power to go way faster than is probably safe! Ive topped out nearly every car ive ever owned.. EXCEPT for all my turbo cars. I havent topped out a single one of them. But any turbo dodge with a 3.02 auto trans, i would get out of it just because i didnt want to listen to the motor zinging up for that long. All the 5spd cars are geared to go 150-200 depending on tire size and rpm.

Had my omni doing 135 with the windows down. Speedo said I was doing only 100. Didn't learn this till the next day when my buddy said I flew by him and he was doing 110.

I like it. I used to go out on I77 heading north towards cleveland and bump the speed limiter on my Caprice. No one else around.
I like that yours will live a nice long time while the honda will be replacing parts every week or two.

Exactly, this is like the 5th "setup" they have put in this car.......which means rebuild most likely

When i had my aries as a tbi i modded it up from ~90-95 top speed to 115. I have no idea what it would do now as a turbo.

Nice, I need to get some big injectors and rock some E85 again...I'm gonna finish out my AWIC system properly, re-do my head gasket properly again, get my tune reset again and go dyno mine on 93 first.

It kind of is for a stock head. Most people on this forum dont get that far before they start doing things to the head. I think the highest stock head HP ive heard of was not that much higher than this.
