Made a good deal on a new turbo. The pictures are comparing the new unit to the T04E hybrid turbo from the 8v engine, and of course the obligatory soda can comparison photo.

The deal I got on it was too good to pass up. It is a journal bearing, .63 A/R T3 turbine housing with a 3" V-band outlet.
I was able to request a slightly extended tip on the compressor wheel to increase the rated hp from 700 to 707.
It should be more than capable of helping me reach my goals with the car. I am hoping that it will be at least somewhat responsive.

It should be no problem until you run out of gear.
On a slightly different note, thanks for taking the time to post up pics of how you had the alternator mounted when the Contraption was still an 8v motor. I'm doing that to my blue GLH right now. It will make IC mounting a breeze.
No problem! It worked out very well. I'll likely use that setup again when I have time for my rampage
