While being single helps with having the time for the hobby, it would be nice if there were two incomes to share my expenses.

Haha No. There's quite a bit more to do, and I'll take the winter to do it right.

    The shortblock is done.
The cylinder head is in Steve Menegon's hands.
The fuel and cooling systems need to be plumbed, including the intercooler water lines, trans cooler, etc.
All of the electrical needs to be addressed. Not sure weather to start from scratch or strip down a factory harness for lights etc.
Engine management needs to be installed and wired.
    Transmission needs to be completed.

Just too much to do the right way in the time available. It also is somewhat dependent on selling some parts I have.
I'm hoping for a Spring debut.

Go with a universal hot rod harness, sooo much nicer, your engine management system should offer a universal harness too.

Thanks mike. Any manufacturer recommendations for a body harness? What about integration with the OE steering column harness?

Or the exact same hobby, then you can go for the bulk discounts, make her pay half the big tools you can share easy... get the right high dollar parts on your birthday, do cheap romantic stuff for hers...
