I think I have a bunch of the soft rubber carb to air hat gaskets...
I need the spacer that sits between the carb and the intake. And i need two of em :/
You're talking about the MP rubber spacer, correct?

Ah, I had the rubber version of that. I thought you guys grabbed that when you were here, but maybe someone else bought it. Mallory no longer makes the 2.2 dist, but when I contacted them they said they could custom make one. It was pricey though.

They were pricey when they still made them. I wonder if the unilite conversion can be made to work in a stock housing?
There's always the option of the early VW distributor. I have a brand new one in the box I don't need.

What all has to be done to make that work first on the 2.2, and second with an msd box?
I think the shaft has to be machined. I think if you go to the carb section on TD there is a thread there with some pics.
