Yes, it's time again for some indoor Kart racing with the OVC and Indy Chapter of SDAC!! (Any Chicagoland guys or elsewhere want to join in??? You are more than welcome!)

Saturday, Feb. 9th 4 PM at the Fast Times indoor track on the north side of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Shake off those Winter blues and let's do some racing! The karts are quick, it's racing on two levels (hills and stuff), and someone died racing there several years ago so you know it's serious. Come and trade paint with all of your fellow Turbo-Mopar enthusiasts!

There will be partying at the stately Fleck Manor Safehouse that day (weekend?) as well!

Please chime in this thread with interest so we can plan the festivities! (BYOB but We can plan food and non-adult beverages and see if we need to notify the Track on a large number of people showing up.)

What else do you have to do? Football Season will be over by then so you can get a start on the Racing Season even if it is just Bench Racing (and Karts too!)

Well, I called it Fleck Manor but I actually have an offical "Mopar Manor" street sign made to have mount on a post for the driveway as soon as the weather breaks! I seriously doubt anyone would be afraid of my wife's Shih Zhu if I let her out in all her fury to attack. I'd hate to get sued for all the sniffing and possibly licking trauma they would suffer.

I won't be able to go carting...even though I now weigh 204 lbs (least since high school) compared to 259 1/2 when I retired 5 years ago....but DO want to make it to mr Flecsters place....what time, what address.

As stated previously, we will be meeting at Kart Track at 4pm (they have a privete party scheduled until 3:30pm) and the track is open until 11pm but when we decide we are done. (Probably no more than two heats as it wears you out!) The cost is $20 for 8 minutes. They charge $2 for a helmet but you can bring your own and save the cash. You also need a valid driver's license and will be asked to show it. (Also must be over 18 years of age.)

(This is just off 96th St. & Keystone on the North side)

After we get done (6pm-ish???) everyone is invited back to my place near Arcadia, IN for pizza and such and other frivolity! (Bench racing, talking crap, discussing all things automotive, etc.)

Arcadia, IN 46030.

Head North from Fast Times on Keystone and merge with Meridian (US 31).
You will be on Keystone/US 31 for about 16 miles.
Turn right (East) onto 256th St. (Wilson's Farm Market is at the turn - Store has "Wilson" on the roof in the shingles.)
Stay on 256th for about 3 miles. After passing Cal Carson Rd., the house is in the middle of a group of three homes on the left (North).

I'll be there with my wife. I also know Devon and another guy in Indy will be at the go-kart track. Possibly some others (2-6) from our group, I'll find out and call you tomorrow.

I think I might be able to head up to Indy for this one. I haven't been to an SDAC meeting for awhile. I hope I don't jynx myself this time, in January when I wanted to make the Indy meeting I caught the Flu...
