That run didnt use 1st gear either, if i remember correctly. Never heard back on why.

long story short. we had a manual/auto toggle switch, which was never labled. then it rained, then we puked coolant then they shut down the drags

dude please tell me how in the world your getting a 2.15 60ft on street tires. I recenty went back to the track with toyo R1Rs thinking they would hook better then a nomal street tire, but all night my best 60ft was a 2.45 with a 99.

Just takes practice. I've got 2.32-2.33 60-fts both in my 3k+ lb Lebaron and my '87 Shelby Z on street tires. 205/55/16 AllSeasons on the Daytona and 215/60/15 and 215/50/17 on the Lebaron, also AllSeasons. Trick is in modulating the clutch and accelerator pedals just right on launch. Basically you don't want to dump the clutch and compensate with the gas, what you want to do is hold the rpm at the optimum launch point and slip the clutch a little as you launch. Ideally you'll feel it hook and start pulling, then you drop the clutch and got WOT on the gas.

JT...do you want seperate listings for cars that are already on the list, but are completely reconfigured? My '88 Shadow is on the list already with a 10.57 as a 16v car. I recent slammed the car together with an 8v for GRM and went 11.31. Same car, slower than before but completely different configuration.

Cool. I'm down with having different configs both listed, we've got at least one other on the list like that now
