Well, your hooking better with the 3.85/24.5 combo than you were with the 3.50/24.5 combo (Almost as good as the 26's), so you must be figuring something out
Clearly, the car likes the better gearing with the shorter tire and the 3.85 FD powering down the track in 4th.

I think the mph might be from cool air with slightly more boost from it, but also from spinning in the first 1/8. Comparing all tire combos in this thread shows similar results for each combo actually... I need to compare data logs to know that for sure. Maybe I'll add that to this post:

Looking at the front 1/8 of those runs the best 330 was with 3.50 / 26' as that was by far the best traction, LOL
Thanks!

I just noticed, I was looking at the 1.713 60' on the 24.5/3.85 FD run, but looking at the post quote by glhs875, I'm guessing that's a miss print and the actual 60' is 1.782?
If that's true then your 24.5/3.85 FD combo is actually hooking Better than the 26/3.50 FD combo past the 60'(or at least accelerating better) But who knows, maybe the air, maybe the set-up was just running better (you solved the break-up issue) maybe you just drove it better?
Other than a few anomalies through the first two gears (driver error most likely or set-up not running right) you can clearly see the difference in gear/ tire combo down the track. The 24.5/3.85 combo is accelerating down the track the fastest as one would expect, also giving the highest mph with the best ET. What's interesting is it also has the fastest accel from the 60' on, so like I said, either you were shifting better (speed + pick the Right rpm shift point through the gears) or the combo was running better, or a combo of both.
Either way, nice going!

Yeah, there was a typo, corrected time (and timeslip) on the times page. I'm sure there's different levels of driver error on each run, LOL! I'll try to dig up the logs for each to see for sure

Is it possible to have the year of the actual date of the run listed? I'd like to know when Gary D had his deep 10's run.

JT...do you want seperate listings for cars that are already on the list, but are completely reconfigured? My '88 Shadow is on the list already with a 10.57 as a 16v car. I recent slammed the car together with an 8v for GRM and went 11.31. Same car, slower than before but completely different configuration.
dude please tell me how in the world your getting a 2.15 60ft on street tires. I recenty went back to the track with toyo R1Rs thinking they would hook better then a nomal street tire, but all night my best 60ft was a 2.45 with a 99.
Well I did improve ever so slightly
