    Question Odd wiring omni glhs

busy trying to get my omni I just picked up back on the road. Near the battery tray is a y harness of two red wires from the battery that go out to a bunch of wires. Most of these wires are fusible links. There is one wire that has been 'repaired' that goes to a gray wire further down the harness. Someone in the past has put a fused wire and just twisted the wires together.

Any ideas where this wire goes or what it is for?

stock has the Y, one runs to all the fusable links, the other runs to the starter. I would either repair the fusable link properly or you could read up on installing a power distribution center from a newer car. There are a few threads that I dont have links to, you can either search or someone else might have a link.
