The allure for me is bright light with cheap replacement bulbs so I can spend my money on go-fast goodies. 12's are going to be expensive to reach in an un-aerodynamic 3800 lb pig of a vehicle.

I can try to see which brand I got last from rockauto. They worked fine.
The hid kit I got was here:
    http://ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-HI...ast-35W-or-55W
You need the dual high/low 9004 kit.
Color I chose was 5000K and that is just very slightly hued blue. 6000k would be more blue and 4500k would be more like incandescent bulb output.
I think all dual kits come with the wiring harness. But it couldn't figure out if you need to add that to the order. I can try to find my old order receipt.
And yes, you do need to adjust your headlights. But they don't look pointed funny when they are correctly aimed.

(And no, I don't get paid by ddmtuning to recommend there products.)

Wow, been working to much in the garage and missed this GREAT thread!!!

Here are some of my favorite pics of my van, along with a compilation video created by Marybeth.

    http://youtu.be/MP6ndpaL3cI

My van has made it's way around on different pages on facebook, this was one of my favorites.

And I do have another van. It's a 92 TBI 5 speed. It's my DD. It's pictured here with 2 others, unfortunately those other two were waiting to get placed inside the junkyard, and they looked just as nice as mine, or as crappy depending on who you are talking. LOL (edit: just to be clear, mine is on the far left)

^Welcome to the thread Joe, I suppose if we had to pull our trans as many time as you have in the last few weeks, we"d never get out of the garage either I do have an AJ built OBX LSD equiped lockup 413 sitting on the shop floor that needs to go in Woody but I want to do it at the same time as the new top end 2/3 flare is getting worse and worse in the original trans tho, its full lift shift now

    Re: Show Off Your Mini!!

Haha, yeah spending way to much time out there, but last week or so wasn't working on the van but on the Lancer that JohnnyIroc bought.

I'm done swapping transmissions though, I dropped my trans off at a trans shop in Iowa that is owned by a turbo dodge enthusist. Tranz Tech in Dubuque Ia. I knew I was in the right place when there was an 89 CSX and a Spirit R/T sitting outside, and inside there was a nicely restored T1 engine on an engine stand, and lots of turbo dodge parts under the work benches...LOL

They were excited about the opportunity to build a race 413 as they have only built them for personal use prior to me. I told them to take there time as I don't need the van to be ready till March. So hopefully I'll be done with swapping transmissions every week. Once a year is fine, like every winter I'll bring the trans out to get a little refresher done to it, but every weekend is stupid.

    Update Alan:
Finally found my DDM Tuning receipt the other day.
Bought the high/low 9004 kit in 5000k. The kit comes with the high/low harness.
The current deal is pretty good. I had paid $65.

I love the way this looks! I really wish I could put a CV front into my 2gn van.

Fir reference, here's my TBI/5-speed van. Doing a turbo swap over the winter.

I think it needs a little black on the headlight trim to bring the black out to them also.
Just a little. An idea here on the passenger side….sample.

Ya but there are no lines to support the black trim. Unlike the grill if I were to outline it in white.

I beat a newer Mitsubishi Lancer non-turbo twice back when my van was in the 16's. The third time he had to go up against me, he u-turned and left the staging lanes.

HAHA that's great! All the track employees came and asked about it. While going down the track I could see kids jumping and cheering for it as I went by! It was a blast. Makes me want to make it quicker.
