    Re: Show Off Your Mini!!

    I wish.. No, for a non-car shed.

Our full size cargo van maxes out at 12 feet closed and these little minis can do 10 closed if you put one end on the dash. Pretty dang impressive! Probably should use a dash cushion if you try this though. And don't brake hard..

I think Gus had it right.. kid taxi, cargo hauler, or mustang smoker. They can cover it all pretty good.

I am redoing my wife's 89 Mini, lighter maroon top, dark bottom, a/c and cruise only options, red interior. Of course forgot to take pics of the nasty engine bay before I took the head off. So far, put my free 2nd gen front suspension in, will be putting a rear sway bar in too, my GTC mags, minor engine mods and that's it.

I added another Mini to the collection because, well, I'm not sure of the because was a great road trip with my Bro Duncan so that was part of the appeal http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/sh...lan+and+dunkin Anyway, here are a couple early 'before' shots of 'Whiteout'

So far just a new drivers quarter from a J-Yard to replace the dented one and some powder coated 15X7 rims from a Jeep (it's a 5X114 bolt pattern Mini). DOn't have installed pics as it was dark last night when we put them on but it rides b!tchen on the new meats

LOL love the shot with the pistols. You don't ---- with a guy with a road-rage'd front fender dual wielding pistols in flip flops in a 25 year old van!

So wait, you bought a v6 van? CRAZY.

Dont push the red button. You hear me?

Oh my, thank you for the idea with the jeep wheels. Please post pics of them on the van when you get them on. I've been wondering what wheels to run when I go to 5x114.

I was talking about Alan's van. I know you wouldn't buy a v6 van, but that Alan... hmm. Can't be too sure.

Wow, how did I miss this mini-van thread? I'm in the process of converting to CV sealed beam head lights. I just got done painting the head light bezels and grill. It's a challenge to match 25 year old faded paint but I got close. I'm waiting for new side marker and turn signal lens' then I'll post up pictures.

Look up E code sealed beam conversion lamps. I have a set on mine and with relay'd headlights I light up the road just as good or better than most new cars, even with 60w bulbs. The first pic doesn't show much but the second pic shows the nicer cutoff. The relay box I used is out of a toyota.

Alan, watch those sticky weights up near the spokes of the rim. Maybe with the different offset they'll be ok but the new tires I got they put the weights there and they wouldn't clear my 11's and got knocked off while tightening the lug nuts. YRMV.

Aw C'mon Adam, compare the two pics again and see what's different. Holding the Kimber 1911's with the 22cal topslides(for varmint) pic is from the trip from Spokane to Socal, the pic in front of my house is today a week later. Whats missing from the later pic?? The dent right That front quarter is from the yard, here it is at the end of the day today...

    Re: Show Off Your Mini!!

you guys work fast. Shoulda had you change the right fender on my ShelbyZ while you were here How much do those rims stick out? I threw them on just to make sure they fit but couldn't drop the van on the ground as there was no air in them. They look nice though. Couldn't tell if the offset made them stick way out to the side or not.
