    GLHS #420 Restoration

We got it to the shop. It's in the evaluation phase.

The floors and rails are really clean. Just the spare tire well needs some attention. Other than the obvious, the body is in decent shape.

Plans are to get it on the frame machine and rough it out. Then it goes on the back burner while we gather parts and wrap up other projects.

A big thank you to Turbo Dave for saving it from the crusher.

Anything is fixable, once you get past the fact that most people part instead of giving a second thought towards repair. This car was local to me. I wouldn't have minded it, but it went TurboDave's way instead.

P.S. Did you get the blue quarter panel with it that I gave to Dave?

No, He had a whole sidecut. Including the frame rail and some of the floor.

I need to move to Wisconsin. There are now two major Mopar restoration shops there; MCR and Great Lakes Hot Rod that would fullfill all of my automotive requirements .....

This project is on hold while we finish CSX-T #764 for SDAC.

We need a good spare tire well.
