I've got a used holset hx35. No shaft play. Looks great. Decided to go with another turbo. No wastegate. Comes with the vband and the turn down with donut piece.

Is this to big for a mild built 8t2 valve t2. Pistons cam springs head has been smoothed
Not sure. I know Boost geek runs one. But he also runs 10's. I'm not really sure how the lag will be.
There is an aftermarket .63 housing you can buy that will make the turbo more usable on an 8V but it IMO it is too big. That is my opinion though. If I had need for another I'd buy it.
