Weird thing happened on a hill today?

Going up a nice steep hill and enjoying some really nice boost at about 12psi. Get closer to the top of the hill and it started bucking really bad 3 times like it was hitting boost cutout. Wife got mad . So i backed out what can cause that? It was doing nicely all the way up to that point. Its weird and i am getting annoyed that this taking so long to figure out all the gremlins this car has!

    Thanx again

If you pull the codes it will have stored a code if it was cutout IIRC.

Ok i got a 15 and a 45. but my boost gauge only said it was at 12psi. Dazed and confused, guess i will have to replace the speed distance sensor.

    Woa there killer.

If the SDS was bad it would hopefully give you a code for that too. Not only that, I don't know what the SDS would have to do with overboost.

The gauge might be a little off. etc.

how steep was the hill? maybe the fuel was getting pushed to the back and leaning out the car?

Ok, I just checked the minimopar page. I am a bit rusty on my over boost codes as I have not had that enabled for so long.

I would actually check the wiring etc. with the SDS. I have gotten that code before, but the car ran really well and the code did not come back after I reset them.

Yeah i replaced the sds wiring right to the computer. Just to rule that out so i think it is the sensor itself. And the overboost might be right u never now. Maybe my c2 gauge sucks.
