It pulled up next to the sidewalk where I was working (Linden, NJ), got the camera out just as he was pulling away. From the looks of the driver, betting he's the original owner! Car body in rough shape!
Did they build 5spd turbo new yorkers?? Did they build two door ones?

no two door new yorkers, but a two door lebaron coupe with a vinly top is probably the closest looking. no 5 speed on new yorker, only auto, but think you could get 5 speed on lebaron coupe.
that's an 84 or 85. The new yorker was a stretched 4 door kcar body. Same as a caravelle but with the addition of a vinyl top.
