    Thumbs down Stubborn Suspension Bolt

So one of the control arm bolts appears to be fused to the metal sleeve in the bushing. I cannot for the life of me get it to come out... from beating the crap out of it to trying to rotate it out.

    Suggestions?

I've always had to resort to cutting them out. If you can heat it without setting the car on fire that's probably the best way to go.

I will try heating it. I want to reuse the bolt so i don't have to find a new one.

They're available from the dealer still. In my experience you'll want to go ahead and order one. If you can get the bolt out of that sleeve it won't look so hot when you do.

I've seen a kframe do that on all 4 arm bolts, even an impact hammer wouldn't get it to budge. Not sure if the drove the car through the ocean or not.

    Frank,

I had the same problem when I did my conversion, I ended up cutting both ends of the bolts off...good thing Johnny's bushing kit came with new bolts
