FS 1986 GLH-T ***solid solid car**** Pics are now posted

    I'm sure I'll have regrets....

Some of you may have seen the car at Brian's shop. That's it in my avatar. This is as solid a car as you'll find. Don't waste time with rust repair. Leave your trailer at home, drive this car home.

I had the car at Brian's and he switched the engine.

    Description:
    1986 GLH-T
    Red on Red
    80,373 miles
    42,000 miles Non-CB (1989 from a Masi TC)
    1989 SMEC (1989)

    Good:
    Solid, Solid car
    New Head Gasket
    New Timing Belt
    New Heater Control Valve
    New Water Pump
    Starter Replaced
All these items were done as a precautionary measure, that way everything under the intake on the back of the engine should be maintenance free

    Recent Walbro 255
    Interior is great
This has always been a T1 car and has never been chopped up (To add an intercooler or other reasons)

    Bad:
    Paint (Looks good from 10')
    Power Steering Leaks
Left Rear Wheel Arch Dented (approximately 3/4" X 3/4")
    Headliner needs to be recovered

I'll edit as needed to provide you with the most accurate description I can.

View the pics last to first, youll see 2 small rust spots 1st on the LR drip rail, 2nd on the RF drip rail and the picture with the tape measure shows the small dent in the left rear wheel arch. You'll see the paint is faded on the roof and hood. The exhaust is good with a flanged exhaust cut out. The rest of the pics show flame to floor pan areas, seat support rails, front floors, rear floors, sills, spare tire well and the rest of the floor pan. And a couple of undehood pics for good measure.

    Thanks,
    Guy

Hey Guy. Sorry to hear your selling it. I might consider an even trade for my 87 Shelby Charger if your intersted. It's the car I had at Cecil...
The PO owner spent lots of money at FM converting it to a stage 5 car. All it needs is a 3 bar map and a stage 5 cal from Cindy to make it a high 11 second car.

    Have full interior in storage

Or are you really trying to stay incognito from Google Earth and thin out the fleet?

    Mike,

Your offer for the trade is extremely tempting!!! And I will keep it in mind. Can you pm me the name of the guy that had it built? I have to see Mike DeMoss on Saturday and I can talk to him about the car.

Selling the car has 2 purposes.

First, reduce the number of cars you can see from Google earth satellite (You know it is kind of sad when Google earth satellite makes your house look like a used car lot, and not all your cars are even at our house).

Second, buy a Procharger for the Jeep.

Saw your car on Wednesday and the cage is looking good!

Re: Fs 1986 GLH-T !!!solid solid car!!!

Gotta vacuum it out. And install a couple small pieces it will be just as nice as the other pics, The back rest of the back seat 2 minor tears, So I need to install the new one then it'll be top shelf. Except the headliner that needs recovering,

A lot of the parts you saw in the car at the shop were for our 1995 NYG ACR Neon (1 of 93 built on a seperate assembly line for SCCA Showroom Stock class. I used to love to watch that class it was like a Neon freight train leading the rest of the pack!!!!!

I didn't get to see your car at Brians. I think it arrived after I dropped mine off. Cool 95 car.
