Description:1989 Chrysler TC. Whatever the heck they called that maroon color. Turbo-II/Auto. 114,xxx original miles.
The good:
Everything power works, except the driver's side door lock but it will lock manually.
Both tops are in good shape.
Original radio and speakers.
Original Spare.
To my knowledge nothing leaks anymore.
New plugs, rotor, cap, two new fuel lines, will soon have a fresh oil change(synthetic). New PCV valve. New air filter. Trans shifts well.
Comes with the optional top rack and tons of literature that was provided to me buy the 2nd owner.
Original NC car, so no rust.
The bad:
Paint is fading.
I hit a deer a couple of weeks ago and it broke the grille, dinged the hood and damaged the lower bumper cover. But all the damage is superficial. The hood still opens and closes and all the lights are intact.
The ABS module is not working. The brakes do work very well though.
Could use shocks/struts.
Leather seats are intact but pretty faded and dry.
The dash was taken apart at some point and was not put back together correctly, so the leather on the dash in loose.
The motor that locks the rear of the top down is not working. There is a manual override, I have been using that.
If I think of anything else I will post it.
Want: Any T-M with a back seat. Would prefer an L-Bodyor LeBaron vert(wife likes to cruise with the top down). But beggars can't be too choosy. Must be in running/driving condition. Some work needed is ok as long as it'll get me back and forth to work. No rust buckets. Something in similar condition to the TC would be perfect.
