1988 Chrysler Town and Country 2.2L

    Date: 14th November 2012
    Username: 88wdywoodpecker
    Full Name: Alex Graff
City, State, Zip: North Fort Myers, FL 33917
    Contact: 239-245-0511
Selling or Wanted Price: 1000 OBO (cash talks)

Description: I have a 1988 Chrysler Town and Country Turbo woody wagon for sale for $1000 or best cash offer, I won't take scrap price for it with all the extra parts, I'd simply part it out. Running 14lbs boost, 1 of 5 known in existence built in 1988, has a csx numbered block, the only one known in existence to come with cloth power bench seats.
The good: brand new alternator, new starter, new drive belt, new tranny pan gasket, comes with vac block, synthetic lines, boost gauge, radio works, heat works, (have never hooked up the a/c belt but the system did hold pressure), all of the wood grain and interior parts are present, head gasket kit done on the car about 2 years ago, brand new front brakes (pads, calipers and rotors). new back brake pads. Comes with spare valve cover, 3 inch blow off valve, spare upper intake manifold and anything extra I can find laying around for the car.
The bad: only the front windows go up and down, the interior is pretty shot (seats, dash and door panels need to be repaired or replaced), needs 1 tire (I have a spare to put on but the tire on the rim goes flat in a day), has an issue going into reverse when it hasn't ran in a while, has an oil leak (I'm pretty sure that it's only because the dipstick tube has snapped off, I am going to JB weld it back on and see if this will fix the problem), Paint is faded, small dent in drivers side rear door, No speedometer in digital dash.
Mechanically I would say the car could make you anywhere you needed to get it to, I drove it as a daily driver for over a year, sat it when I moved about 4 months ago and haven't ran it since, but this would be done before purchase.
Please feel free to text or call me anytime, I will send photo's upon request and you can come and take a look whenever you'd like, to test drive it obviously I'd need to get the battery charged so give me some advanced notice.
This was my project car that I was slowly fixing but I am having a baby so it's time for something more practical.

    Thanks,
    Alex

What color interior? And is the exterior white or that creamy yellowish color? Can't really tell on this screen.
Your user name sounds familiar, do i know you?

I will reply for Alex. The interior is beige cloth. The car is in excellent condition body wise. No rust. Florida car practically its whole life. Few years in Nashville but yet still out of the rust belt.

Well look on u-ship for anyone wanting to get a car driven down there, get your outbound expenses covered, then buy it, drive it to Orlando, then get on the Amtrak Auto Train to Lorton Virginny, and drive home from there. (Cuts about 1500 miles I think)

Astronaut diapers???? Naw, they leak and their not biodegradable. That's what the MT wide mouth gatoraids on the back seat floor are for and disposed of properly when you stop to take on more gas!

I wouldn't mind seeing a full battery of some fresh pics though...

I would meet you half way but i just bought a car and transfer'd the plate. I got two obnoxiously low offers that both scrap yards in town beat. It may end up there if i can't sell it soon. Ill be taking off the boost gauge, vac block, granger, lines and all the spare parts before it goes.. i hate to see this happen but ive got bills and cant afford a 500 dollar plate.
