The K has been trimmed. I haven't finished it yet. I hope to have all the mounts and K frame finished up this weekend. The trans cross member is a stock 4 speed unit.
Looking good, very interesting build. Keep up the progress.

thanks Adam! I am having a hell of a time posting pictures to this web site now.
Cool project. I've been keeping my eye out for a 68 2 door to do the same conversion.
what's the next step?
Thanks. I hope it will make some heads spin.
Next step is to get it set back down on its own wheels. Then I will brace the front forks and get ready for cutting of the support to accept the cooler and radiator. Also get the frame connectors welded in. I started cutting a stock SRT manifold up yesterday for my big plenum intake that faces forward. I also got the alt bracket cut and fitted to the engine.
can't wait to see this
Suspension is under the car and its back down on wheels! the engine is so light that I barely have ANY preload on the torsion bars and its sitting at/above ride height! lol

nice projects , I saw the early post of getting the big bolt front end parts and was gonna ask but I see you probably knew or figured out the small bolt ball joints are smaller than the big bolt ones
ya a buddy learned that the hard way
really love that '64
my mother had the exact same blue car but without the white top when I was a kid - only car I wish we still had from "back when"
Anything happening on this project?
