I know I'm late but real world?

Mine was 3400 lbs with driver. Had 340 with a stick, headers, aluminum intake, manual brakes and manual steering and a fiberglass front bumper with bucket seats. 3 scales at three different locations. Four cylinder with auto will be much lighter of course.

Building another '67 now. I'll have to keep an eye on this thread, Gary D.

Ive found mixed reviews on weight. This will weigh less than all darts just by engine choice!

Between having a baby, remodeling the house, and building a few customer cars I haven't had time for mine. Also just got rear ended 2 weeks ago so now I have to figure out a new daily driver which just prolongs the wait.

Oh I agree, just thought I'd chime in.

My car was on a certified state scale on one location and at two different tracks (e-town and NE dragway) and they all were within 20 pounds of each other. My friends Duster with an automatic and steel bumpers was 200 pounds lighter, it use to chap my a$$ I could not get the pounds down more. I even pulled the heater core out at one time but that got old real fast in the winter.

Oh I thought the hemi build was another project.

Still will be cool, and may be a bit easier to get 280hp out of it.
