Congrats on the save. How did you come across it again?
I've seen it a few times here and there over the years. Each time it looked worse and worse. Then I saw it on craigslist a year ago. I finally looked it it a month ago and was a bit disgusted by the condition. Last week I emailed the seller offering him $500 for it. He took $550. I drove it home even though the guy told me it had no brakes and ran hot. He was right. I got it home, checked the fluids and found no brake fluid in the reservoir and the radiator was a gallon and a half low. Filled both up and runs cool and stops better. I drove it over 100 miles yesterday. Feels like it did last time I owned it. Now I will work on getting it to look better.
