Need '89 CSX Recaro cushion frame

I need the metal frame for the cushion/bottom/base of a Recaro seat from an '89 Shelby Shadow CSX. Mine was bent and the repair shop inadvertently threw it away. If your frame includes the floor mount slider adjusting mechanism that would be a plus but I can get by without it.

I have a recaro that the fabric was burnt due to a flying welding spark. Seat frame is fine, just looks really ugly. PM me an offer

Hey steve i didn't know it was you. I know for a fact there is nothing wrong with the frame but for $25 I will probably just keep it and eventually have it redone. If you just need a recaro frame, try ebay, you might get lucky.

Any late 80's/Early 90's sport style high bolster seat frame will work. They are the same as VW, Some BMW's, Supras, and a few others as well.

I'm pretty sure the GLi GTi VW seats use the same parts as the Shelby CSX. VW guys usually refer to these as Helios, or Trophy seats. The ones from the GLi still fold forward even though they are in a 4 door Jetta. I have pair of NOS foam bolsters for the lower seat , LH and RH sides.

Unfortuneately these are rare thats why the seats go for $700 plus, but i did find a set of "Trophy" Seats in a VW Jetta in a Junk yard in CA. I was dumb and only got the top half of the seats. You can sometimes find for sale threads by googling "trophy seats" and maybe PM Mopar318 ?? I think its him that does Upholstery and knows other options and stuff that may be able to help you.
