Charger/Dodge decals in place of original badges: What do YOU thinK?

Parked next to Ralph's '85 Shelby Charger, I realized the obvious...when re-painted the badges weren't replaced on the hatch. Am thinking of ordering these (below) in their place, instead of trying to track the down the badges:

    Whattya think, folks?

(Thought i had a side-by-side of my '87 and Ralph's '85...but may not have uploaded it yet)

Opposite sides or next to each other?

Since if you put them both together it will look odd with different font and height methinks.

ID:	42082 Here's a shot of Ralph's '85, (with 'badges') and my '87. Both decals say 7/16" for the height, which means, (NOW that I think of it), they're gonna be too small. I'm sure i can get some bigger ones made up....somewhere....

Badges may be easy to track down since they aren't Shelby specific. Post a message in the WTB board and see what turns up.

Thanks, kind of leaning AWAY from them, (since I'm not trying to keep everything on the exterior, 100% original). If I can get those shown in a larger size, I think they'd look good on the car.

I thought the chrome badges looked out of place on my Charger, so I had Positive Impressions make decals in the same font with silver vinyl to match the rest of the car. Looks a lot better, I think. Sorry, don't have a pic.

One of the SDAC-Chicagoland Chapter guys Scott (turboscott85 on here maybe?) has decals instead of badges on his and it looks great. Anyoen at SDAC-22 might have seen it. I'll see if I have a pic.
