    High egts on stock cal

    Just got my minivan back together and started driving it. I recently installed a pyrometer that came with the van and I'm noticing that egts are crazy. Under normal cruise it runs 14-1500 and under boost it runs 1550-1600. This engine is running all stock for now at 6 psi and non intercooled. Timing is dead on at 12 and the timing belt is on right. Fuel pressure is right and o2 is working. The Turbo is a garret, that is the only mod other than weiscos and pt lifters/conicals.

    I might have an exhaust restriction but I still need to test that. It has about a foot of 2.5 down pipe, then 3 feet of 3" with an old crummy cat. Then a nasty 3 to 2.5" step into a crappy universal 2.5 muffler then poorly bent 2.5" out the back.

    Stock with stock cam gear. I have an adjustable but Im always afraid of the bolts falling out of it.
