I bought this a while back. Its not a Dunn head and its in great shape. Journals look great. It was a head I was planning to have p&p'd etc. But since I sold my car keeping this thing like I still was going to do, is looking to change lol. Could use the dough since idk when I'm going to even own another t3 based car. I will take pics soon. Just figured I would put this up ahead of time to start getting interest. I'm probably looking for 500 shipped and its well worth it.I'm also supplying proof of a pressure check etc.
THE ORANGE IS NOT RUST... Its crappy lighting that made an orange hue effect. You will see in the pics where the same stuff is not orange lol. Small specks here and there on the retainers but thats it. NO rust at all on the valves. See post 13.

Its bare. May have valves but I forget I haven't looked at it since the day I got it. Its stashed at my fathers house. He's bringing it next couple days or so. Pics will be up then. If it has valves then it of course has the springs lol. So yea would be the only stuff but I know it was camless, and rockerless.

Sorry for delay in pics. Still waiting for my father to bring it down. I don't have time to go all the way up to his place. He's got it in his car just waiting for him to get over here he was supposed to be getting over here this week but he's been busy. Keep the interest rolling in.

    Re: FS: T3 cylinder head

ok update... sorry for the delay. i finally grabbed the head today. it does have valves in the head and of course springs/retainers since they hold the valves lol. there is a set of good lifters too. thats a great portion towards my price right there. no cracks in the core plug areas. it has the steel plugs and there is no crusty coolant around them or anything. pics will be put up tonight or tomorrow.

Did you have it pressure checked, because most of the time the cracks aren't visible to the naked eye. Jackson even thought my head might be good until pressure checking it on his bench and finding a leak.

    pics added to 1st post.

PLEASE NOTE: the orange hue on the valves and retainers is not rust at all!!! There is specks of rust here and there on the retainers but nothing crazy and it pissed me off cus i couldnt get the lighting right to not do that orange on the opposite side of whatever i snapped lol. Both sides of the springs retainers are the same shiny silver as the side that looks orange.

    Re: FS: T3 cylinder head

wow thought i would find many t3 guys who who would be all over this. Im searching around for a place that pressure checks heads. The machine shops i know of/used check for cracks and leaky valves etc. But the more intense stuff im searching on. I cant imagine anything being wrong as far as cracks, etc. I mean the head on my rt i owned had been through heck its life from 2 ishaft failures at tleast i know of, overheats from previous owners, high boost from previous and even me. Holset for a short time boost wasnt high though on that. But still it was strong and ran great. This head looks clean as can be besides new, the ports are very clean. exhaust ports have some carbon but really not crazy as can be seen. intake ports look like nothing has been through them lol. valves look good, some residue on a few but easily cleaned off. My plans for the head was to have it port/polished. Remove all the valves clean them and relap the seats. Have the guides and valve seals replaced. But i dont think any of that is necessary to just run as it is unless you were looking for a large power house lol.

Wrong time of the year. Christmas is close along with all the other holidays. Property taxes are stopping me from any major purchases. Come January I will start buying things.

yea true lol. Only reason im selling it is because we just moved to a new place. We oew the previous landlord some money and yea. Otherwise id keep the thing. I didnt even have plans to sell it until this owed money i couldnt find another way of paying. We set a weekly amount to be paid off by thanksgiving. For whatever reason thats his cutoff. But i havent been able to come up with that weekly payment either for the past 2 weeks.

plus theres a few things missing that can be hard to come by, cams, rockers and valve covers. i was going to use it for my "hybrid" but it might cost me less to just use the turbo 2.4 head i already have.

    anyways glws...

350 come on guys! Save me from court lol. Gotta pay previous landlord by end of dec. 1 of you t3 guys surely need or can use this thing!
Few points to sum up as its mixed around. That orange is not rust. Just bad lighting or something when the pics were taken. Comes with full set of lifters. Valves are in the head as can be seen.
